Boboye: Plateau United will be ready for Eding FC



Plateau United Coach, Kennedy Boboye says his Jos side will be ready for Eding FC of Cameroon in the preliminary of ‎the CAF Champions League. 
Boboye revealed that the team is presently training very well to put up a respectable performance in the first game of the Champions League. 
"We are not underating the Cameroonian side. The fact that they qualified for the competition shows they are also a good side. 
"I'm confident of the players that I retained from last season and the new ones that I have signed on to strengthen them. 
"We have done well in the pre-season and have been able to correct our mistakes. 
‎"One good thing that will also help us is the fact that the Nigeria Professional Football League will start January 14th and that will further help us to know how the players have imbibed when we have taught them over the last two months. 
"I am sure we are going to do our best in the competition because everything is going on well with us" Boboye said. 
Plateau United travel to Lafia to face Nasarawa Unitem in the first game of the Nigeria Professi9nql Football League on January 14th.

Maikaba in search for another striker

Akwa United Coach, Abdul Maikaba says he is desperately searching for another striker to complete his recruitment for next season.  Maikaba disclosed after the League Management Company Super Six Invitational in Kano that ‎the striker will be the icing on the cake for him as the new season starts in January.  "Yes I have recruited some good players for next season. But I'm still‎ looking for another striker to complete what I want in the team.  "I know I have good strikers in the team, but Akwa United will be competing in three tournaments next season.  "The League is there.
