Maikaba in search for another striker


Akwa United Coach, Abdul Maikaba says he is desperately searching for another striker to complete his recruitment for next season. 
Maikaba disclosed after the League Management Company Super Six Invitational in Kano that ‎the striker will be the icing on the cake for him as the new season starts in January. 
"Yes I have recruited some good players for next season. But I'm still‎ looking for another striker to complete what I want in the team. 
"I know I have good strikers in the team, but Akwa United will be competing in three tournaments next season. 
"The League is there. We are the defending Champions of Aiteo Cup‎ and of course, we are also playing in the CAF Confederation Cup. 
"This shows that we need a large squad. I am still searching and I hope I will finally get another striker that will come in to strengthen the team for the three competitions," Maikaba said. 
Akwa United will play host to Rangers International in the first game of the NPFL on January 14th at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

Why l joined El-kanemi - Amakapabo
